FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What are your hours of operation?
Our office hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday. Our physical therapists are very flexible and willing to work with your schedule. We understand it is difficult to take time away from work for visits. During your initial evaluation you and your therapist can discuss a treatment schedule that coincides with your personal schedule.
Will my insurance pay for treatments?
Please see the Form/Insurance section for a list of insurance companies that we contract with. Most insurance plans cover outpatient therapy very well. A deductible and/or a co-payment for each visit is common and you can check you insurance plan for this. Once you schedule your visit and you have provided the receptionist with your insurance card and information our billing department will also verify your benefits for you. If you have any insurance questions or would like to have your benefits verified prior to treatment please call (701) 751-2020.
Do I need a Dr’s referral for PT?
For most commercial insurance plans, a doctor’s referral is not required prior to scheduling your appointment with one of our physical therapists. Medicare DOES require a Physicians referral.
How long is each visit/session?
The first visit with comprehensive eval will be approximately 45-60 mins. Each visit thereafter will be 45 mins approx..
What should I expect at the first visit?
To initiate a program of therapy, the therapist will do a thorough examination of the patient. This includes obtaining a patient history and selecting and performing specific tests and measurements to obtain data and information on your condition. Your therapist will develop a personalized treatment plan for you and discuss your road to recovery.
What should I wear?
All physical therapy exams are private as are all of our treatment rooms. Loose-fitting, comfortable clothing is recommended and shorts if you are being treated for anything from your hips down to your feet. We do have gowns and shorts available for you.
Where are you located?
We have 3 locations to better serve you. Our main office is located at 1655 north Grandview lane suite #204 ( 2nd floor Eckroth Music building.) We also have locations in Washburn and Underwood.
Can I Choose my PT/clinic?
Absolutely! The choice of where you receive therapy is always yours. We often see patients who have been told they must see a therapist at their doctor’s office or at the hospital but you have the right to choose where to go for Physical Therapy.
